Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Randolph Doherty made the kick off which started today's match. When Morgan Winter came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Avondale Estates fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Morgan Winter couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Avondale Estates booed when Boulder Creek FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kyle Leach didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chris Bradley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rocco Dale in the 7th minute of the match. Val Ruiz took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Odell Banks. Odell Banks dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Val Ruiz struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Odell Banks didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boulder Creek FC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rocco Dale in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chris Bradley prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Rocco Dale's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Chris Bradley was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. In the 22nd minute, Tad Reid hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Rocco Dale came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Avondale Estates fans jumped to their feet. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rocco Dale in the 34th minute of play forced Boulder Creek FC's goalkeeper Chris Bradley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute Randolph Doherty shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Odell Banks saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Morgan Winter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chris Bradley having to interfere. Boulder Creek FC's Val Ruiz got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Val Ruiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Odell Banks tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rocco Dale made a kick off. Enrique Bellamy hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. The supporters of Avondale Estates booed when Boulder Creek FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kyle Leach didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Avondale Estates's Morgan Winter got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 68th match minute, Boulder Creek FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barry Hester to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rocco Dale in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chris Bradley prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Morgan Winter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chris Bradley having to interfere. When Avondale Estates's Rocco Dale in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Boulder Creek FC's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Boulder Creek FC's Chris Bradley got control of the ball when Ned Lundy tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Rocco Dale's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Chris Bradley was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Odell Banks showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Val Ruiz in the 84th minute of the match. Odell Banks stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Val Ruiz's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Randolph Doherty received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Odell Banks tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Val Ruiz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Randolph Doherty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Avondale Estates's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
