Marcos Arredondo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 26 minutes of play, Bellwood's Jarvis Ash made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Arredondo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 56th minute Jarvis Ash shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Arredondo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute Bellwood were awarded a corner. Xavier Wilburn went to the cornerflag to take it. Reserva Paraná's Lonnie Golden got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jarvis Ash during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marcos Arredondo was out of position in the 95 minute of play, and Sidney Palacios capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sidney Palacios really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. When the final whistle sounded Bellwood left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Reserva Paraná.
