Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ned Whitt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Giuseppe Grayson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tony Sutherland in the 5th minute of play. The supporters of Bonita Springs booed when Plantation AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Jamison didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute, Myles Bentley sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Plantation AFC's Giuseppe Grayson didn't even have to move. The throw-in from Myles Bentley in the 13th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Plantation AFC's Leroy Hand. 15 minutes into the match, Lanny Coker dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Frank Marks, 1-0. The referee felt a red card was in order, 20 minutes into the game, when Ned Whitt put in a rough tackle. Giuseppe Grayson had in the 22ndth minute some difficulties stopping Ted Brand's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Bonita Springs were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Plantation AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Myles Bentley took the corner. In the 26thth minute of the game Ted Brand who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Plantation AFC's Giuseppe Grayson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Myles Bentley made in the 42nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Plantation AFC's Leroy Hand. Leroy Hand blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Frank Marks having to make a save. Giuseppe Grayson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tony Sutherland in the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ted Brand made the kick off in the second half. Frank Marks showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Dickens, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute of the match Plantation AFC got a corner. Bonita Springs's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eli Stahl ran over to the corner to take the kick. Roland Dickens struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Frank Marks didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Plantation AFC. The crowd rose to their feet as Ted Brand kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Giuseppe Grayson. That made the score 1-1 in the 59 minute of play. Woodrow Odell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Devon Burnett's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Giuseppe Grayson firmly grabbed it by the left post. 79 minutes into the game, one of Plantation AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Woodrow Odell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ted Brand received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Giuseppe Grayson came out and tried to block the shot, but Ted Brand slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 89th minute. When Tony Sutherland came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Bonita Springs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tony Sutherland couldn't finish the play. Giuseppe Grayson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ted Brand in the 97th minute of play.
