The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emerson Vilter was the one to do the kick off. Red Wing's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aidan Sousa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aidan Sousa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alistair Meyers read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aidan Sousa in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alistair Meyers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rudolph Davenport charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rudolph Davenport the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 70 minutes, Donald Porter mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Red Wing and the South Point players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Rudolph Davenport had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 77 minutes into the match, South Point's goal looked a bit too open when Stevie Fontenot came free, but Alistair Meyers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Aidan Sousa came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Red Wing fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aidan Sousa couldn't finish the play. South Point's Alistair Meyers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stevie Fontenot in the 84th minute of play. Alistair Meyers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Aguilera in the 85th minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 87th minute of the game. One of South Point:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Red Wing:s goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stevie Fontenot in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alistair Meyers saved South Point from getting behind. In the 98th minute, Manuel McCauley left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Red Wing fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0.
