Claudio Jarvis took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sidney Hager. Sidney Hager dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 8 minutes into the match, Burlingame FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlo Beal came free, but Jeremy Epps reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Craig Curtis in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sidney Hager saved Woodchuckers from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Craig Curtis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Burlingame FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Craig Curtis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sidney Hager breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilberto Barton got free with Sidney Hager in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Woodchuckers's Sidney Hager proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Woodchuckers from getting a goal against them. Craig Curtis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Sidney Hager tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bradley Aquino kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Craig Curtis in the 37th minute of play forced Woodchuckers's goalkeeper Sidney Hager to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Al Galloway had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sidney Hager. Woodchuckers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Al Galloway was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Jeremy Epps showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugh Skaggs in the 44th minute of the match. Gilberto Barton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Sidney Hager tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Woodchuckers's Sidney Hager proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Woodchuckers from getting a goal against them.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rodger Shook stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Craig Curtis in the 58th minute of play forced Woodchuckers's goalkeeper Sidney Hager to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Carlo Beal fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Woodchuckers's protests and gave Carlo Beal a yellow card for diving instead. When Burlingame FC's Gilberto Barton in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of Woodchuckers booed when Burlingame FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Al Galloway didn't get a good kick on the ball. Woodchuckers's Bradley Aquino couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Burlingame FC. Reynaldo Harper kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. If Craig Curtis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilberto Barton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sidney Hager read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Jeremy Epps made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodger Shook in the 82nd minute of play. In the 85th minute, Carlo Beal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Burlingame FC's Gilberto Barton got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Craig Curtis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Sidney Hager tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Burlingame FC's Gilberto Barton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sidney Hager narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Woodchuckers's Sidney Hager played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Craig Curtis in the 91st minute of play. Sidney Hager didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gilberto Barton went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. When Burlingame FC's Gilberto Barton in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
