Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) A collision led to East Merrimack AFC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Rodolfo Shipman hit a great ball. After having played for 22 minutes, Salvatore Glass managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lancaster FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Salvatore Glass was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24th minute, Josef Tang ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bobby Decker was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Josef Tang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bobby Decker having to interfere. Teddy Ames recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Josef Tang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Bobby Decker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute Dirk Carson suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Woody Murdock's late challenge caught a East Merrimack AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Woody Murdock helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Lancaster FC's Woody Murdock got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute, Ian Johns sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Lancaster FC's Roger Locke didn't even have to move. Salvatore Glass received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Bobby Decker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Woody Murdock kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After the first half Lancaster FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Drew Kerns stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 58 minutes, Josef Tang managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lancaster FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Josef Tang was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Salvatore Glass had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bobby Decker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josef Tang in the 62nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Drew Kerns put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Roger Locke. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josef Tang in the 73rd minute of play forced East Merrimack AFC's goalkeeper Bobby Decker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Drew Kerns received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Roger Locke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Drew Kerns scored 2-2 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roger Locke, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bobby Decker made an important save on a dangerous shot by Salvatore Glass in the 82nd minute. Salvatore Glass blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bobby Decker having to make a save. Josef Tang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 94th minute, Drew Kerns ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roger Locke was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2.
