The supporters of Aliamanu booed when East Merrimack AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ian Johns didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teddy Ames recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 21 minutes into the match, East Merrimack AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrick Grayson came free, but Bobby Decker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Drew Kerns fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danial Ennis having to interfere. Sonny Burton's late challenge caught a East Merrimack AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sonny Burton helped the player get up and apologised. Sonny Burton kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Teddy Ames fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danial Ennis having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrick Grayson in the 39th minute of play forced East Merrimack AFC's goalkeeper Bobby Decker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. East Merrimack AFC's Bobby Decker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrick Grayson in the 42nd minute of play. In the 54th minute, one of East Merrimack AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for East Merrimack AFC. Jamel Bond placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! After having played for 62 minutes, Rodrick Grayson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aliamanu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodrick Grayson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in East Merrimack AFC's zone, Thomas Womack stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bobby Decker came out of the goal and Thomas Womack tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rodrick Grayson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Bobby Decker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dirk Carson kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. When Sonny Burton was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 74 minutes had been played. Sonny Burton hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After having played for 77 minutes, Drew Kerns managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
