Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Taos's Parker Swift played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sydney Dougherty in the 6th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Taos's goal looked a bit too open when Sydney Dougherty came free, but Parker Swift reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th match minute, Taos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caleb Grant to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 21 minutes, Monte Beatty successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Woody Parson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Monte Beatty tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Taos's goal looked a bit too open when Sydney Dougherty came free, but Parker Swift reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 40 played minutes Sung Delong rounded charlotte fc's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. 46 minutes into the game, Taos's Woody Parson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Monte Beatty made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0.

charlotte fc's Sydney Dougherty got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 54th minute Osvaldo Smart shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Parker Swift saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 57 played minutes Taos got a freekick which was hit by Christian Bonds. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Smart in the 61st minute of play forced Taos's goalkeeper Parker Swift to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Monte Beatty didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sung Delong went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Osvaldo Smart recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Taos getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Caleb Grant hit a great ball. After 74 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for charlotte fc! The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Sung Delong received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Monte Beatty tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Sung Delong got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Osvaldo Smart struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Parker Swift didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for charlotte fc. Taos's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
