Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Troy Park got the match started through his kick off. Nathaniel Larson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daryl Moyer having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Wyomissing's zone, Leroy Key stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daryl Moyer came out of the goal and Leroy Key tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 10 minutes into the game, Leroy Key cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Daryl Moyer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Daryl Moyer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leroy Key, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Nathaniel Larson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daryl Moyer. Wyomissing's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nathaniel Larson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 19th minute, Nathaniel Larson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daryl Moyer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leroy Key, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Leroy Key managed to get in a good position for a shot. Conover's supporters rose to their feet, but Leroy Key was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 47th minute, Nathaniel Larson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Conover fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leroy Key made a kick off. Nathaniel Larson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
