Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Chad Lackey took the kick off in the first half of the match. Gabriel Rivers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 10th match minute, Lake Providence was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benito Strong to maneuver through the defense. Eduardo McNeill was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 11th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Milwaukee's Denis Miranda slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Freddy Edwards. That made the score 1-0 after 15 minutes of play. Gabriel Rivers took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eric Staples. Eric Staples dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Whitney Howe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eric Staples had in the 30thth minute some difficulties stopping Jimmy Curran's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Whitney Howe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Edwards having to interfere. When Denis Miranda in the 39th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Freddy Edwards kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 2-2 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. With a little luck, Lake Providence's Freddy Edwards got control of the ball when Whitney Howe tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 43rd match minute, Lake Providence was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rufus Peachey to maneuver through the defense. When Benito Strong fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lake Providence's protests and gave Benito Strong a yellow card for diving instead. In the 47th minute, Benito Strong hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Denis Miranda to strike the kick off in the second half. Freddy Edwards showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Whitney Howe, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Miranda in the 58th minute of play forced Lake Providence's goalkeeper Freddy Edwards to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Milwaukee booed when Lake Providence was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Chadwick didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Lake Providence's Rafael Chadwick got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute Whitney Howe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddy Edwards saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eric Staples made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chad Lackey in the 69th minute of play. After having played for 71 minutes, Whitney Howe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Milwaukee's supporters crossed their fingers, but Whitney Howe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Denis Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gabriel Rivers who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 82ndth minute tested the skills of Eric Staples when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Lake Providence's Chad Lackey got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Denis Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Freddy Edwards stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Denis Miranda's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. If Jorge Adair had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jorge Adair received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Freddy Edwards tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
