After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Chad Lackey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lake Providence's supporters rose to their feet, but Chad Lackey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Al Darling breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Magnum PI's Al Darling played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chad Lackey in the 20th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chad Lackey in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Al Darling prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Chad Lackey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ervin Sheldon made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Ervin Sheldon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Freddy Edwards was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 58th minute Chad Lackey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Al Darling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aidan Rosado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Chad Lackey's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Al Darling was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. 92 minutes into the match, Lake Providence's Gabriel Rivers sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Al Darling narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Chants of Magnum PI echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Lake Providence had held the ball for most of the match.
