A wasted opportunity for Port Richey. 14 minutes into the match, Orlando Melvin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of DeMarcus Koch. Port Richey's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Orlando Melvin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The supporters of Iowa AFC booed when Port Richey was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aidan Cotton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sung Tyson struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. DeMarcus Koch didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Iowa AFC. The supporters of Port Richey booed when Iowa AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Son Robles didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Sanford Beard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Iowa AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sanford Beard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. DeMarcus Koch breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Samuel Phelps sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Iowa AFC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Orlando Melvin hit a great ball. Iowa AFC's Sung Tyson got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 38 minutes into the match, Port Richey's goal looked a bit too open when Sanford Beard came free, but DeMarcus Koch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. DeMarcus Koch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sanford Beard in the 40th minute of the match. Sanford Beard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sung Tyson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. DeMarcus Koch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Iowa AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fletcher Hufnagel made a kick off. A collision led to Port Richey getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Korey Bachman hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute of the match Dale Arellano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but DeMarcus Koch showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Port Richey's DeMarcus Koch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sanford Beard in the 66th minute of play. Sung Tyson scored 1-2 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of DeMarcus Koch, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 75 minutes into the match, Sung Tyson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of DeMarcus Koch, 1-3. Garth Brooks kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Sung Tyson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 82ndth minute, DeMarcus Koch skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 83 played minutes Port Richey got a freekick which was hit by Korey Bachman. If Sung Tyson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute of the match, Sanford Beard tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but DeMarcus Koch saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fletcher Hufnagel in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Josh Clayton saved Iowa AFC from getting behind. 93 minutes into the match, Port Richey's goalkeeper DeMarcus Koch had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sung Tyson. In the 93rd minute, Sung Tyson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of DeMarcus Koch. The goal made the score 1-4. The Port Richey fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Iowa AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
