Rudolph Saucedo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Steve Neely read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. When Matthew Zeigler came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Burien AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matthew Zeigler couldn't finish the play. Matthew Zeigler hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. The supporters of Trentwood FC booed when Burien AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nathan Lane didn't get a good kick on the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Burien AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Troy Zimmer came free, but Steve Neely reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Burien AFC's Brice Lloyd got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 89th minute, Matthew Zeigler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Troy Zimmer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Burien AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Trentwood FC.
