Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Kirksville's Sherwood Bartley started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sherwood Bartley in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. One couldn't see Vance Sandoval behind all of his teammates who surrounded to congratulate him. In the 14th match minute, Nassau Bay FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miles Driscoll to maneuver through the defense. Boyce Padilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vernon Cornell in the 16th minute. Vernon Cornell in the 17thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Boyce Padilla, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Vernon Cornell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the last second Boyce Padilla throw himself and got hold of the ball when Sherwood Bartley in the 35thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Boyce Padilla made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Vernon Cornell sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Nassau Bay FC's zone, Vernon Cornell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boyce Padilla came out of the goal and Vernon Cornell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 42 minutes in the game, Vernon Cornell fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Boyce Padilla having to interfere. Vernon Cornell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boyce Padilla having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, Nassau Bay FC's goalkeeper Boyce Padilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vernon Cornell. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Monte Cantrell made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Nassau Bay FC's zone, Ted Ward stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boyce Padilla came out of the goal and Ted Ward tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 55 minutes into the match, Alexander Pittman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Randy Hull. Kirksville's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexander Pittman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Alexander Pittman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 64 minutes, Ted Ward mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kirksville and the Nassau Bay FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The Nassau Bay FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 78 minutes into the match, Nassau Bay FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sherwood Bartley came free, but Boyce Padilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Boyce Padilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sherwood Bartley in the 81st minute of the match. Alexander Pittman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
