Monte Cantrell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Patrick Watson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexander Pittman struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Patrick Watson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nassau Bay FC. Alexander Pittman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Watson having to interfere. Jim Cole kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Hal Wang kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Alexander Pittman's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 10thth minute, Patrick Watson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Mel Cross received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Nassau Bay FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hal Wang was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 16th minute, Nassau Bay FC's Monte Cantrell ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Patrick Watson. Patrick Watson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. In the 23rd minute, Robin Ferris hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute of the match Zackary Quinn sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Boyce Padilla skillfully saved the ball. baxters's Patrick Watson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monte Cantrell in the 26th minute of play. Monte Cantrell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Monte Cantrell to strike the kick off in the second half. Jim Cole hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 52ndth minute of the game Monte Cantrell who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but baxters's Patrick Watson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Patrick Watson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Monte Cantrell's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Boyce Padilla was out of position in the 65 minute of play, and Mel Cross capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mel Cross really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. After 69 minutes, Shayne Hanson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the baxters and the Nassau Bay FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Nassau Bay FC booed when baxters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shayne Hanson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 77 played minutes, Nassau Bay FC's Sanford Rossi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Patrick Watson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Nassau Bay FC reached it. Patrick Watson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Monte Cantrell's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. In the 84th minute, Mel Cross got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 85 minutes into the game, Miles Driscoll was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nassau Bay FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave baxters the free kick. In the 85th minute, Miles Driscoll hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 88 played minutes Nassau Bay FC got a freekick which was hit by Wyatt Holmes. Monte Cantrell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hal Wang recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Laurence Sykes charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Laurence Sykes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of baxters booed when Nassau Bay FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laurence Sykes didn't get a good kick on the ball. The baxters players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
