Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Opportunity FC's Tory Joseph started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Abraham Banks had several of the Opportunity FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 3 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Mohammad Jewell as he didn't even see the shot coming. After some careless play in the Chandler FC defense, Scotty Dodson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Errol Rodriguez. The Chandler FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Errol Rodriguez should have stopped the shot. After having played for 9 minutes, Trent Roland managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chandler FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Trent Roland was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Opportunity FC's D.J. Siegel got a free kick in the 11th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Opportunity FC's zone, Pablo Lynn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mohammad Jewell came out of the goal and Pablo Lynn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 22nd minute Tory Joseph shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Errol Rodriguez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Opportunity FC's Tory Joseph got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 26th minute, Whitney Sampson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 28 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Opportunity FC's Scotty Dodson fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. When Abraham Banks fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chandler FC's protests and gave Abraham Banks a yellow card for diving instead. After 30 played minutes Chandler FC got a freekick which was hit by Abraham Banks. In the 31st minute, Emmitt Hawk sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Chandler FC's Errol Rodriguez didn't even have to move. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thurman Wheeler during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Opportunity FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 36th minute. Penalty! An unexpectedly hard shot by Trent Roland in the 46th minute of play forced Opportunity FC's goalkeeper Mohammad Jewell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Trent Roland was the one to do the kick off. If Scotty Dodson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Tory Joseph came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Opportunity FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tory Joseph couldn't finish the play. Errol Rodriguez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Scotty Dodson in the 61st minute. Opportunity FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Emmitt Hawk in the 63rd minute. Opportunity FC's Stacy Hurd was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Errol Rodriguez in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Mohammad Jewell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Trent Roland's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Errol Rodriguez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tory Joseph in the 69th minute of the match. After 71 minutes of play Chandler FC's Abraham Banks was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Abraham Banks hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute of the match Emmitt Hawk sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Errol Rodriguez skillfully saved the ball. Errol Rodriguez stood somewhat misplaced when Scotty Dodson came free in front of goal and shot 2-2 to the left of him in the 78 minute. A collision led to Opportunity FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Derek Staton hit a great ball. If Pablo Lynn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chandler FC's Errol Rodriguez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by D.J. Siegel in the 85th minute of play. In the 86th match minute, Chandler FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Trent Roland to maneuver through the defense. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Opportunity FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
