Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the match, Plover's Jose Zaragoza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roman Busby narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 9th minute Jose Zaragoza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Busby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute, Aaron Hall left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Long Beach AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a rather tough play, Plover's Art Manley got a free kick in the 18th minute. Luciano Yang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaron Hall in the 20th minute of play. In the 23rd match minute, Long Beach AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Landon Bristol to maneuver through the defense. Jose Zaragoza hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Aaron Hall managed to get in a good position for a shot. Long Beach AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aaron Hall was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luciano Yang breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Long Beach AFC's zone, Reynaldo Gant stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roman Busby came out of the goal and Reynaldo Gant tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 33 minutes, Gerard Daley mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Plover and the Long Beach AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gerard Daley kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 35th match minute, Long Beach AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Darron Wyatt to maneuver through the defense. Arturo Gipson's shot from long distance in the 36th minute was not bad at all, but Long Beach AFC's Roman Busby knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. If Jose Zaragoza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Darron Wyatt kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Plover's Von Roche got a free kick in the 46th minute. Long Beach AFC's Aaron Hall got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Landon Bristol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Luciano Yang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kenneth Pierre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Yang having to interfere. Aaron Hall recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 59 minutes, Landon Bristol mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Long Beach AFC and the Plover players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Long Beach AFC's Landon Bristol got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 61st match minute, Long Beach AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Landon Bristol to maneuver through the defense. 65 minutes into the match, Long Beach AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Zaragoza came free, but Roman Busby reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th match minute, Plover was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Zaragoza to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Hall in the 68th minute of play forced Plover's goalkeeper Luciano Yang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Reynaldo Gant's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roman Busby was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. In the 75th minute, Jose Zaragoza made a precise shot to the right of Roman Busby. Long Beach AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 78 minutes into the match, Long Beach AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Reynaldo Gant came free, but Roman Busby reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luciano Yang stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aaron Hall's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Kenneth Pierre struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Luciano Yang didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Long Beach AFC. Kenneth Pierre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Luciano Yang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luciano Yang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron Hall, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 98th minute the ball was on its way in behind Plover's goalkeeper Luciano Yang, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Plover's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
