Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Karl Shelton got the match started through his kick off. Grady Busch's late challenge caught a Atlanta United FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Grady Busch helped the player get up and apologised. Grady Busch hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. 4 minutes into the match, West Warwick's goal looked a bit too open when Sammy Reyna came free, but Eliseo Parrish reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vince Erwin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eliseo Parrish read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Karl Shelton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th match minute, Atlanta United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roscoe Becker to maneuver through the defense. Rob Ogden came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by West Warwick's Kelly Epps. But to his dismay, Kelly Epps quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Eliseo Parrish showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sammy Reyna, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute, Karl Shelton reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rob Ogden. The goal made the score 2-0. Karl Shelton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karl Shelton got free with Rob Ogden in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Xavier Manley fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atlanta United FC's protests and gave Xavier Manley a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Atlanta United FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Xavier Manley hit a great ball. Vince Erwin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Eliseo Parrish tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Kelly Epps took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Rob Ogden to make any attempt to save it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Rob Ogden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl Shelton in the 54th minute of the match. Rob Ogden didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kelly Epps went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Edgar Romero kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Kelly Epps blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rob Ogden having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Karl Shelton put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Rob Ogden. Vince Erwin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseo Parrish having to interfere. Vince Erwin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sammy Reyna was extremely unlucky when he, in the 80th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 89 played minutes Atlanta United FC got a freekick which was hit by Jose Walls. West Warwick's Marlon Franks couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 89th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Atlanta United FC. Eliseo Parrish made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sammy Reyna in the 94th minute of play. If Sammy Reyna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. West Warwick had won after a very even match.
