Atlanta United FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marc Schaefer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Rob Ogden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marc Schaefer in the 15th minute of play. The supporters of OMNIS CULPA FC booed when Atlanta United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Walls didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Atlanta United FC defense, Kirby Rowland kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rob Ogden. The Atlanta United FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rob Ogden should have stopped the shot. Vince Erwin in the 20thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Royce Feliciano, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 21stth minute of the game Marc Schaefer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlanta United FC's Rob Ogden was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rob Ogden came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by OMNIS CULPA FC's Marc Schaefer. But to his dismay, Marc Schaefer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. A collision led to Atlanta United FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Jose Walls hit a great ball. Rob Ogden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kirby Rowland in the 37th minute of the match. In the 40th match minute, Atlanta United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Walls to maneuver through the defense. Rob Ogden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marc Schaefer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sammy Reyna was the one to do the kick off. Markus Pickens's late challenge caught a Atlanta United FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Markus Pickens helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Atlanta United FC booed when OMNIS CULPA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Markus Pickens didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sammy Reyna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Royce Feliciano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marc Schaefer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kirby Rowland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rob Ogden having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Atlanta United FC's zone, Kirby Rowland stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rob Ogden came out of the goal and Kirby Rowland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 66 played minutes Atlanta United FC got a freekick which was hit by Xavier Manley. In the 67th minute, James McCoy sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Atlanta United FC's Rob Ogden didn't even have to move. If Kirby Rowland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st match minute, Atlanta United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roscoe Becker to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute, Evan Middleton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Johnathan Goodwin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Royce Feliciano. OMNIS CULPA FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Sammy Reyna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Royce Feliciano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. In the 96th minute there was a penalty for Atlanta United FC. Johnathan Goodwin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Royce Feliciano. 1-3. OMNIS CULPA FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
