Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Troy Moore made the kick off which started today's match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Troy Moore in the 5th minute of play forced Society Hill's goalkeeper Harry Ware to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute Kraig Ackerman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leif Harmon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kraig Ackerman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leif Harmon having to make a save. In the 13th minute Troy Moore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harry Ware saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Neal Carnes notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Medford Lakes's Leif Harmon. Leif Harmon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andy Hines got free with Harry Ware in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 22 minutes into the match, Medford Lakes's goal looked a bit too open when Neal Carnes came free, but Leif Harmon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 26 played minutes Society Hill got a freekick which was hit by Gordon Souza. Harry Ware showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Troy Moore, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Julio Clancy might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leif Harmon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Julio Clancy ran back to his position shaking his head. Neal Carnes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Leif Harmon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Society Hill's Harry Ware proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Society Hill from getting a goal against them. Troy Moore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harry Ware having to interfere. Andy Hines who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Harry Ware when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 44 minutes of play Medford Lakes's Denny Hathaway was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 45th minute, Denny Hathaway hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 46 minutes into the match, Medford Lakes's goal looked a bit too open when Kraig Ackerman came free, but Leif Harmon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Society Hill were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When Medford Lakes's Andy Hines in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Society Hill's goalie prevented a goal. 56 minutes into the match, Medford Lakes's goal looked a bit too open when Kraig Ackerman came free, but Leif Harmon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Medford Lakes defense, Kraig Ackerman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leif Harmon. The Medford Lakes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leif Harmon should have stopped the shot. Leif Harmon was a little too slow when Kraig Ackerman got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 0-3. Harry Ware showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andy Hines in the 67th minute of the match. A collision led to Medford Lakes getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Rico Dupre hit a great ball. In the 74th minute, Neal Carnes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 76 minutes into the match, Medford Lakes's goal looked a bit too open when Kraig Ackerman came free, but Leif Harmon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kraig Ackerman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Leif Harmon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andy Hines fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harry Ware having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, Medford Lakes's goalkeeper Leif Harmon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Neal Carnes. A collision led to Medford Lakes getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Jesse Frazier hit a great ball. Neal Carnes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Leif Harmon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 92 played minutes Medford Lakes got a freekick which was hit by Junior Bonilla. Society Hill's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
