Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Rolando Hickman made the kick off which started today's match. After having played for 3 minutes, Brent Hanks managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Savoy Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brent Hanks was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Brent Hanks's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but James Marcus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Manhasset's zone, Micah Elkins stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. James Marcus came out of the goal and Micah Elkins tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Micah Elkins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Micah Elkins got free with James Marcus in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Rolando Hickman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rubin Dale was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Rolando Hickman took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rubin Dale. Rubin Dale dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 30th minute, Charlie Benedict hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 31 minutes into the match, Savoy Fc's Cameron Barajas broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Tomas Fisher charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomas Fisher the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tomas Fisher kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. If Micah Elkins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brent Hanks recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jed Calderon hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The Savoy Fc players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Manhasset were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brent Hanks was the one to do the kick off. James Marcus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Micah Elkins in the 52nd minute of the match. A collision led to Manhasset getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Jed Calderon hit a great ball. Charlie Benedict charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Manhasset's James Marcus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blair Lange in the 65th minute of play. Brent Hanks recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brent Hanks in the 70th minute of play forced Manhasset's goalkeeper James Marcus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. James Marcus came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Savoy Fc's Micah Elkins. But to his dismay, Micah Elkins quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Micah Elkins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 78 minutes, Brent Hanks made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Manhasset's James Marcus tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 81 minutes into the match, Manhasset's goal looked a bit too open when Blair Lange came free, but James Marcus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Hickman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubin Dale having to interfere. When Brent Hanks came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Savoy Fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brent Hanks couldn't finish the play. James Marcus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brent Hanks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Micah Elkins blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without James Marcus having to make a save. Savoy Fc walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
