Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zachery Potter started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Virgil Vazquez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as North Kingsville's Dale Jefferson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Collin Bateman. That made the score 1-0 after 6 minutes of play. In the 10th minute, one of Portola Hills FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Portola Hills FC. Zachery Potter might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Seth McNally. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zachery Potter ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 18th match minute, North Kingsville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leland Lang to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the match, Portola Hills FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dale Jefferson came free, but Collin Bateman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute, North Kingsville's Dale Jefferson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. In the 32nd minute Zachery Potter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Seth McNally saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Seth McNally took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zachery Potter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dale Jefferson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Collin Bateman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcellus Rodriquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seth McNally having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dale Jefferson to make the kick off. If Zachery Potter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Dante Drew put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Seth McNally. Dante Drew received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Seth McNally tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Leland Lang fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored North Kingsville's protests and gave Leland Lang a yellow card for diving instead. Portola Hills FC's Dante Drew got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dante Drew received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Seth McNally tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Morgan Blalock fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored North Kingsville's protests and gave Morgan Blalock a yellow card for diving instead. Portola Hills FC's Thaddeus Whitehead shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 68th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Seth McNally but with some difficulty. With an all-out effort, Portola Hills FC's Seth McNally threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zachery Potter, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to Portola Hills FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Rigoberto Blount hit a great ball. Collin Bateman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dale Jefferson in the 73rd minute of the match. Collin Bateman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dale Jefferson went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Dale Jefferson hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. 81 minutes into the game, Portola Hills FC's Dante Drew nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Seth McNally made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. 86 minutes in the game, Zachery Potter fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Seth McNally having to interfere. Dale Jefferson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, North Kingsville's Seth McNally got control of the ball when Dante Drew tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zachery Potter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Seth McNally tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. North Kingsville's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
