Xavier Bailey kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Xavier Bailey scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Napoleon Kimble, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 10 played minutes Lexington FC got a freekick which was hit by Ken Sinclair. If Dennis Pringle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Drew Acuna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Avery Munoz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xavier Bailey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Napoleon Kimble having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Lexington FC's Dale Montes got a free kick in the 17th minute. Napoleon Kimble showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xavier Bailey, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Dennis Pringle hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Xavier Bailey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernie Schroeder could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Avery Munoz made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Lake Wissota FC's Kristopher Carey got a free kick in the 36th minute. Lake Wissota FC's Mitchell Travis got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Napoleon Kimble made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Xavier Bailey sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Lexington FC's zone, Kurtis Sands stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Napoleon Kimble came out of the goal and Kurtis Sands tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aurelio Cardoso hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Napoleon Kimble made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xavier Bailey in the 59th minute of play. In the 62nd match minute, Lexington FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Carmichael to maneuver through the defense. Xavier Bailey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Napoleon Kimble having to interfere. The supporters of Lexington FC booed when Lake Wissota FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Copeland didn't get a good kick on the ball. 75 minutes into the game, Xavier Bailey cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Napoleon Kimble was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Avery Munoz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shelby Herrington in the 79th minute of the match. Avery Munoz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernie Schroeder in the 80th minute of play. Xavier Bailey was extremely unlucky when he, in the 86th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 95th minute Drew Acuna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Avery Munoz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lake Wissota FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
