Westminster East's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Freeport the free kick. Riley Dunlap hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Ed Burton took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Warren Fournier. Warren Fournier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfonso Ackerman during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Freeport booed when Westminster East was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso Ackerman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 14 minutes, Thaddeus Gillespie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Freeport's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thaddeus Gillespie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Tod Thorpe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Markus Bass kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Boyle in the 20th minute of play forced Freeport's goalkeeper Warren Fournier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Freeport booed when Westminster East was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Riley Dunlap didn't get a good kick on the ball. Warren Fournier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 39 minutes into the match, Freeport's goal looked a bit too open when Riley Dunlap came free, but Warren Fournier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tod Thorpe kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Warren Fournier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Boyle, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Thaddeus Gillespie did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised Lucas Bergman 44 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute, Roland Allred hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Freeport players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Westminster East were winning 1-2.

Freeport were furious when Esteban Woodard was red carded, 54 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 53 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Freeport! When the match had been going on for 56 minutes, Westminster East's Tyron Chester got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Warren Fournier. In the 60th minute Thaddeus Gillespie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Bergman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Thaddeus Gillespie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thaddeus Gillespie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Bergman having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Thaddeus Gillespie made a precise shot to the right of Lucas Bergman. Westminster East's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. The audience was convinced that Thaddeus Gillespie's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lucas Bergman was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Freeport's Warren Fournier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Willard Hart in the 78th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Riley Dunlap got free with Warren Fournier in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Riley Dunlap in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Warren Fournier saved Freeport from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thaddeus Gillespie in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucas Bergman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Westminster East's Elias Boyle suffered a torn muscle in his knee after 98 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tod Thorpe during the 98th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 99th match minute, Freeport was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tod Thorpe to maneuver through the defense. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Westminster East walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
