Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Josef Fujieda made the kick off which started today's match. Lisle AFC's Alonso Kinsey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kip Villegas in the 7th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jeff Major in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alonso Kinsey prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpected shot in the 13th minute by Josef Fujieda got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jeff Major's late challenge caught a Lisle AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jeff Major helped the player get up and apologised. In the 15th minute, Jeff Major hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Josef Fujieda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Duane McCauley might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gerard Mackey. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Duane McCauley ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 23rd minute Josef Fujieda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerard Mackey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Woodrow Gore kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Josef Fujieda received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gerard Mackey came out and tried to block the shot, but Josef Fujieda slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 31st minute. In the 34th minute, Kip Villegas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alonso Kinsey was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 43 minutes into the match, Raleigh's goalkeeper Gerard Mackey had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Duane McCauley. After 46 minutes Raleigh's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pete Burt who took care of the corner kick. Lisle AFC's Pete Burt was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gerard Mackey in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Duane McCauley's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gerard Mackey firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 49th minute, Lisle AFC's Josef Fujieda ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gerard Mackey. Gerard Mackey yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kip Villegas made a kick off. Duane McCauley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerard Mackey having to interfere. When Josef Fujieda came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Lisle AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Josef Fujieda couldn't finish the play. In the 68th minute, Josef Fujieda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Duane McCauley's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gerard Mackey was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Raleigh's Aaron Zapata got a free kick in the 75th minute. Josef Fujieda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Duane McCauley took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gerard Mackey. Gerard Mackey dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Duane McCauley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gerard Mackey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josef Fujieda, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. After 87 played minutes Lisle AFC got a freekick which was hit by Duane McCauley. Gerard Mackey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duane McCauley in the 92nd minute of play. After 94 played minutes Raleigh got a freekick which was hit by Woodrow Gore. Raleigh's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
