Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bryant Goodman to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes Ruidoso got a freekick which was hit by Bryant Goodman. In the 53rdth minute of the game Orville Gillis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ruidoso's Charles Cassidy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Scotty Castro in the 57th minute of play forced Ruidoso's goalkeeper Charles Cassidy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Charles Cassidy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orville Gillis, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Bryant Goodman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Rodger Voss tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Winston Delaney managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ruidoso's supporters rose to their feet, but Winston Delaney was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodger Voss breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Ivan Yu fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Futura FC's protests and gave Ivan Yu a yellow card for diving instead. With a left leg Charles Cassidy saved Ruidoso from getting behind. Orville Gillis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles Cassidy having to interfere. Javier Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ruidoso players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
