In the 6th match minute, Charging Alpacas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Keenan Aranda to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Charging Alpacas booed when Cuero FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Billy Cain didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Charging Alpacas's Andy Bradshaw got control of the ball when Rob Weldon tried to sneak it across the goal line. 17 minutes in the game, Francisco Holcomb fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Andy Bradshaw having to interfere. 23 minutes into the game, Francisco Holcomb recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Andy Bradshaw. Francisco Holcomb showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lonnie Pace in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Forrest Berry prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Francisco Holcomb recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Francisco Holcomb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andy Bradshaw having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Charging Alpacas's zone, Archie Grier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andy Bradshaw came out of the goal and Archie Grier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Francisco Holcomb to strike the kick off in the second half. Leon McNeill helped the player get up and apologised. In the 79th minute of the match Mitch Trujillo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Andy Bradshaw showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 85 minutes into the game, one of Charging Alpacas:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 87th minute there was a penalty for Cuero FC. Mitch Trujillo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Andy Bradshaw. 2-0. Cuero FC's Rob Weldon got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Monty Wall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Andy Bradshaw tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
