Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Edgardo Ferris kicked off to start the match. Edgardo Ferris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marvin Spivey having to interfere. Marvin Spivey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgardo Ferris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 7 played minutes Ronny Heath rounded Clifton Heights's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. A hard shot 10 in the game by Louie Jennings from a close distance when the talented Wesley Layton managed to make a qualified save. Clifton Heights's players were relieved. Wesley Layton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronny Heath in the 11th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Ilion's Ronny Heath dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Ronny Heath sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Louie Jennings got in the 27th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Wesley Layton handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Ronny Heath recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Ilion's goal looked a bit too open when Vincenzo Croft came free, but Marvin Spivey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 38th minute of the game. One of Clifton Heights:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ilion:s goal. Wesley Layton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronny Heath in the 45th minute of the match. Edgardo Ferris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Marvin Spivey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ronny Heath made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Ronny Heath made a precise shot to the right of Wesley Layton. Clifton Heights's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. After a rather tough play, Clifton Heights's Robby Wesley got a free kick in the 67th minute. Louie Jennings fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wesley Layton having to interfere. Clifton Heights's Wesley Layton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Louie Jennings in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronny Heath in the 75th minute of play forced Clifton Heights's goalkeeper Wesley Layton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ronny Heath had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgardo Ferris struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Marvin Spivey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clifton Heights. Vincenzo Crofts short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got Marvin Spivey to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ronny Heath fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wesley Layton having to interfere. Clifton Heights's Vernon Tidwell got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 96 minutes, Marvin Spivey successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.
