Tory Aguilera charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tory Aguilera the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tory Aguilera kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. The supporters of Lake Wylie AFC booed when Orangeburg AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reinaldo Thompson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Salvador Redding made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dwayne Magee in the 12th minute. If Dwayne Magee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Orangeburg AFC's zone, Arnold Crain stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cary Ryder came out of the goal and Arnold Crain tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Salvador Redding showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monroe Babcock in the 24th minute of the match. Dwayne Magee blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Salvador Redding having to make a save. 34 minutes into the match, Orangeburg AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Lucien Jeffries came free, but Cary Ryder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Tory Aguilera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 40th minute, Arnold Crain ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cary Ryder was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Salvador Redding made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dwayne Magee in the 45th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

55 minutes into the match, Jessie Middleton had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Salvador Redding. Lake Wylie AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jessie Middleton was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 65 minutes into the match, Lake Wylie AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Dwayne Magee came free, but Salvador Redding reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Orangeburg AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lake Wylie AFC the free kick. But to his dismay, Jessie Middleton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. 90 minutes into the match, Lake Wylie AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jessie Middleton came free, but Salvador Redding reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Lake Wylie AFC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Orangeburg AFC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
