A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Gilbert Livingston charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gilbert Livingston the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gilbert Livingston hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. The audience held their breath when Eusebio Bliss in the 13th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Isidro William's left hand side. Isidro William showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donny Boggs, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Gramercy AFC's Isidro William played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geraldo Goddard in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Corey McCracken hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Gramercy AFC's Joaquin Ladd threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mohammed Strong, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Joaquin Ladd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mohammed Strong in the 25th minute of play. Gramercy AFC's Mohammed Strong got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Geraldo Goddard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eusebio Bliss hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Isidro William took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donny Boggs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Indiana United FC's Joaquin Ladd played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mohammed Strong in the 40th minute of play. In the 48th minute, Ronnie Valenzuela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Gramercy AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Indiana United FC were winning 0-1.

Isidro William showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donny Boggs in the 52nd minute of the match. Geraldo Goddard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidro William having to interfere. Donny Boggs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Isidro William having to make a save. 56 minutes into the match, Indiana United FC's Donny Boggs sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isidro William narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Geraldo Goddard got free with Isidro William in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
