The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 14th minute of the game. One of Alexandria FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Attleboro FC:s goal. If Teddy Reeder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Owen Swift's late challenge caught a Attleboro FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Owen Swift helped the player get up and apologised. Vance Carson shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Owen Swift hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teddy Reeder in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ricardo Sadler saved Alexandria FC from getting behind. Ricardo Sadler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wes Parrish, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Maurice Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Theo Murphy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teddy Reeder couldn't finish the play. Ricardo Sadler made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Wes Parrish sent off a good shot on target. 79 minutes into the match, Alexandria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Teddy Reeder came free, but Ricardo Sadler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ricardo Sadler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teddy Reeder in the 83rd minute of the match.
