Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Blaine Duvall in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rusty Madden prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gabriel Norris recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. DeMarcus Hammons fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boyce Fugate having to interfere. Rusty Madden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernest Ciccaglione, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Lloyd Longoria kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Walton McCain got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ryan Waller hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 24thth minute of the game Gabriel Norris who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kennewick FC's Rusty Madden was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blaine Duvall in the 26th minute of play forced Kennewick FC's goalkeeper Rusty Madden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute, Gabriel Norris got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 47 minutes into the match, Kennewick FC's goal looked a bit too open when Blaine Duvall came free, but Rusty Madden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Glob were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Walton McCain was the one to do the kick off. Boyce Fugate didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Derrick Aranda went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Blaine Duvall could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Rusty Madden made a huge save. Glob's Blaine Duvall got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gabriel Norris received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rusty Madden came out and tried to block the shot, but Gabriel Norris slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 63rd minute. Glob's Gabriel Norris got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ryan Waller during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 77th match minute, Glob was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ryan Waller to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Walton McCain's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Boyce Fugate was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. If Blaine Duvall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Glob eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
