Adolfo Singleton helped the player get up and apologised. Adolfo Singleton hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Scot Cho kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. When Richie Shoemaker came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Ephrata FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Richie Shoemaker couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Richie Shoemaker's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hal Levy was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Richie Shoemaker managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ephrata FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Richie Shoemaker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hal Levy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hal Levy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Scot Cho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 31 minutes, Domenico Rice successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 33 minutes into the match, Ephrata FC's goal looked a bit too open when George Morse came free, but Domenico Rice reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hal Levy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Richie Shoemaker's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Richie Shoemaker in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hal Levy saved Virginia FC from getting behind. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for George Morse to strike the kick off in the second half. Roman Gray got his second yellow card in the match during the 54th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Richie Shoemaker who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Hal Levy when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Virginia FC's goalkeeper Hal Levy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 61st minute Tristan Crosby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domenico Rice saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Richie Shoemaker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hal Levy having to interfere. Richie Shoemaker took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hal Levy. Hal Levy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Richie Shoemaker might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hal Levy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Richie Shoemaker ran back to his position shaking his head. 79 minutes into the match, Virginia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Richie Shoemaker came free, but Hal Levy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th match minute, Virginia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by George Morse to maneuver through the defense. Hal Levy made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Alexander Christie sent off a good shot on target.
