Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Connor Reynolds started the match with the kick off. When Fellsmere AFC's Lucas Fisher in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Massapequa's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Homer Gibbons managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fellsmere AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Homer Gibbons was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ezra Bowen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Lucas Fisher's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ezra Bowen was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. If Lucas Fisher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Connor Reynolds blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Houston Alvarado having to make a save. In the 20th minute, Garry Kelley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Massapequa's Hugo Nielsen couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 21st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Fellsmere AFC. The supporters of Massapequa booed when Fellsmere AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michael Sweeney didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 34 minutes of play, Massapequa's Connor Reynolds made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Houston Alvarado was left in no man's land by his defense there! Napoleon Ulrich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Houston Alvarado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the game, Fellsmere AFC's Lucas Fisher nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ezra Bowen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After a rather tough play, Fellsmere AFC's Adrian Whitten got a free kick in the 45th minute. Houston Alvarado made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Napoleon Ulrich sent off a good shot on target. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
In the 52nd minute, Connor Reynolds left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Massapequa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. A collision led to Massapequa getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Joey Zeigler hit a great ball. The supporters of Fellsmere AFC booed when Massapequa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Monroe Starks didn't get a good kick on the ball. Homer Gibbons's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ezra Bowen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Massapequa's Ezra Bowen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Fisher in the 73rd minute of play. In the 75th minute, Connor Reynolds got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Fellsmere AFC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Garry Kelley hit a great ball. Connor Reynolds struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Houston Alvarado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Massapequa. The supporters of Fellsmere AFC booed when Massapequa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joey Zeigler didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Massapequa had won after a very even match.
