The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miles Summers helped the player get up and apologised. In the 4th match minute, Colonia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miles Summers to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th minute, Greg Godfrey fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jasper Hanson during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Colonia booed when Roodhouse was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roodhouse's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jasper Hanson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
