Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rick Cano started the match with the kick off. Sebastian Rouse kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. In the 7th minute, Cyrus Dillard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 8th minute, Rick Cano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Swarthmore AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Van Goode fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Kent having to interfere. Tory Sheehan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabian Kent having to make a save. In the 16th minute Rick Cano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hal Beam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cyrus Dillard in the 19th minute of play forced Swarthmore AFC's goalkeeper Fabian Kent to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Rex Shockley sped through Swarthmore AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fabian Kent. Youngboys FC's Hal Beam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronnie Grace in the 23rd minute of play. Swarthmore AFC's Fabian Kent played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rex Shockley in the 26th minute of play. Fabian Kent made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rex Shockley in the 28th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexis Ruth during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 31st minute, Rick Cano made a precise shot to the right of Hal Beam. Youngboys FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Sheldon Rafferty's late challenge caught a Swarthmore AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sheldon Rafferty helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Youngboys FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Sheldon Rafferty hit a great ball. In the 39th minute Hugo Pruitt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hal Beam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tory Sheehan kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. The Youngboys FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Swarthmore AFC were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rex Shockley was the one to do the kick off. Fabian Kent came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Youngboys FC's Cyrus Dillard. But to his dismay, Cyrus Dillard quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. When Youngboys FC's Rex Shockley in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Swarthmore AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Hal Beam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rick Cano in the 57th minute of play. Rex Shockley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rick Cano in the 64th minute of play forced Youngboys FC's goalkeeper Hal Beam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Youngboys FC's Hal Beam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rick Cano in the 66th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Swarthmore AFC's Sid Landry got a free kick in the 70th minute. After having played for 73 minutes, Erik Hess managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Youngboys FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erik Hess was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 75th minute, Cyrus Dillard made a precise shot to the right of Fabian Kent. Swarthmore AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Youngboys FC's Van Goode got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Cyrus Dillard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabian Kent didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Van Goode went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. 92 minutes into the game, Rex Shockley cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Fabian Kent was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Youngboys FC had played much better football throughout.
