Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Medina FC's Mike Abrams started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Mike Abrams shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willard Willingham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jasper Herrington lost his temper 5 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Greenacres fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 4th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Medina FC a penalty, 7 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Brandon Schmitz, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Greenacres's Willard Willingham. 1-0. In the 12th minute, Nick Price got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Medina FC's zone, Sebastian Uster stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Loren Hickman came out of the goal and Sebastian Uster tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 19th match minute, Greenacres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zane Seymour to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Greenacres getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Truman Doherty hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Medina FC's zone, Nick Price stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Loren Hickman came out of the goal and Nick Price tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Medina FC's Rocky Chen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Willard Willingham. That made the score 2-0 after 32 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Arthur in the 38th minute of play forced Greenacres's goalkeeper Willard Willingham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Greenacres defense, Mike Abrams kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Willard Willingham. The Greenacres fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Willard Willingham should have stopped the shot. In the 45th minute, Sebastian Uster hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Willard Willingham made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lionel Cowan in the 46th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nick Price was the one to do the kick off. Willard Willingham dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Fabian Phelps took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Willard Willingham. Greenacres's Willard Willingham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mike Abrams in the 68th minute of play. Medina FC were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after Greenacres's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Brandon Schmitz took the corner. Mike Abrams was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The supporters of Medina FC booed when Greenacres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nick Price didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 79 minutes, Harry Moran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Greenacres's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harry Moran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Greenacres booed when Medina FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Whitney Browning didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zane Seymour fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loren Hickman having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Whitney Browning hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Willard Willingham came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Medina FC's Lionel Cowan. But to his dismay, Lionel Cowan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Willard Willingham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mike Abrams in the 89th minute of the match. A collision led to Greenacres getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Harry Moran hit a great ball. In the 94th minute, Nick Price hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute of the match Santiago Arthur sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Willard Willingham skillfully saved the ball. Medina FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Greenacres for a fine match.
