In the 49th minute, Quinn Pierson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ronald Sutton was the one to do the kick off. Richie Barth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Quinn Pierson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Damian Case read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Belvidere AFC's Damian Case played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quinn Pierson in the 56th minute of play. If Quinn Pierson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ronald Sutton fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Belvidere AFC's protests and gave Ronald Sutton a yellow card for diving instead. Ronald Sutton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. After having played for 78 minutes, Richie Barth managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Reserve Township AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Richie Barth was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Quinn Pierson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Damian Case tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 90 minutes into the game, Quinn Pierson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Damian Case. Quinn Pierson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1.
