Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Quincy Watson started the match with the kick off. The supporters of North Miami AFC booed when Leeds United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Tidwell didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 4 minutes, Quincy Watson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. North Miami AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Quincy Watson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Leeds United FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Kenny Ewing hit a great ball. Al Rush charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Al Rush the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 10th minute, one of North Miami AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for North Miami AFC. After a rather tough play, North Miami AFC's Hector Malloy got a free kick in the 18th minute. After a defensive mix-up in North Miami AFC's zone, Kirk Kearney stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armando Owen came out of the goal and Kirk Kearney tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Quincy Watson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quincy Watson might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ross Person. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Quincy Watson ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 34th match minute, Leeds United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jed Bruner to maneuver through the defense. After 41 minutes, Kenny Ewing mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leeds United FC and the North Miami AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Quincy Watson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rupert Jones received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Armando Owen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
The wind increased when Rupert Jones made the kick off in the second half. Armando Owen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rupert Jones in the 54th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Quincy Watson took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Ross Person to make any attempt to save it. If Hector Malloy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leeds United FC's Kirk Kearney got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Armando Owen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kirk Kearney in the 70th minute of play. If Quincy Watson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. When Kirk Kearney came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Leeds United FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kirk Kearney couldn't finish the play. North Miami AFC's Armando Owen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rupert Jones in the 86th minute of play. In the 90th minute Kirk Kearney shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Owen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Quincy Watson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ross Person having to interfere. Quincy Watson in the 96thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ross Person, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 99th minute, Jonah Landreth sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Leeds United FC's Ross Person didn't even have to move. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
