Jeff Peterson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Hannah having to interfere. Juan Colby made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Rex King sent off a good shot on target. Long Is Land FC's Juan Colby proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Long Is Land FC from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Raymond Calderon kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Juan Colby. That made the score 1-0 in the 23 minute of play. Amity AC's Rex King got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 32 minutes into the match, Long Is Land FC's goal looked a bit too open when Raymond Calderon came free, but Juan Colby reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 32 minutes, Luciano Paul mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Long Is Land FC and the Amity AC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luciano Paul kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Jeff Peterson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Leonardo Hannah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Raymond Calderon was the one to do the kick off. Jeff Peterson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonardo Hannah read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. A collision led to Long Is Land FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Jarod Swenson hit a great ball. Juan Colby showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rex King, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 70th minute Rex King shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Colby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Jarod Swenson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Long Is Land FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jarod Swenson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonardo Hannah breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leonardo Hannah made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Nick Cortes sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Jarod Swenson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Long Is Land FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jarod Swenson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonardo Hannah breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 85 minutes into the match, Rex King had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juan Colby. Long Is Land FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rex King was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After 88 played minutes Long Is Land FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Hardin. Raymond Calderon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Juan Colby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that Amity AC were the better team. Amity AC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
