Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Maumelle FC's Darrell Womack started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ernest Starks received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Allan Phipps tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Orangeburg getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Reed Sheehan hit a great ball. The supporters of Maumelle FC booed when Orangeburg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodney Sheehan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Shane Simmons recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Darrell Womack sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Allan Phipps made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Philip Baez in the 10th minute of play. When Ernest Starks fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maumelle FC's protests and gave Ernest Starks a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Orangeburg booed when Maumelle FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernest Starks didn't get a good kick on the ball. Darrell Womack recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 15 minutes into the game, Shane Simmons cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Allan Phipps was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Allan Phipps showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Philip Baez in the 19th minute of the match. Orangeburg's Allan Phipps played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Philip Baez in the 20th minute of play. After 24 minutes, Philip Baez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maumelle FC and the Orangeburg players grew even worse after the yellow card. Maumelle FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Erik Driver 26 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. 29 minutes into the match, Maumelle FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Kane came free, but Jarrett Hairston reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tommie Harman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarrett Hairston having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Marco Kane dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jarrett Hairston, 2-1. If Shane Simmons had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Allan Phipps made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernest Starks in the 46th minute of play.

51 minutes into the game, Shane Simmons recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Allan Phipps. Shane Simmons showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Allan Phipps didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Darrell Womack went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. In the 61st minute, Shane Simmons got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maumelle FC's Shane Simmons got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jarrett Hairston showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommie Harman in the 65th minute of the match. After 67 played minutes Orangeburg got a freekick which was hit by Reed Sheehan. Darrell Womack received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Allan Phipps tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shane Simmons in the 75th minute of play forced Orangeburg's goalkeeper Allan Phipps to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jarrett Hairston showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Driver in the 76th minute of the match. After 77 played minutes Maumelle FC got a freekick which was hit by Philip Baez. After having played for 85 minutes, Rodney Sheehan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Orangeburg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodney Sheehan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 86th match minute, Orangeburg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johnnie Bright to maneuver through the defense. 95 minutes into the match, Erik Driver had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jarrett Hairston. Maumelle FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erik Driver was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-5. Maumelle FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
