Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Zachery Parker took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Hank Denton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pickens's supporters rose to their feet, but Hank Denton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kent Parker breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zachery Parker blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yong Tracy having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zachery Parker in the 13th minute of play forced Pickens's goalkeeper Yong Tracy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enrique Burroughs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Kent Parker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sid Hutchins might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kent Parker. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sid Hutchins ran back to his position shaking his head. Kent Parker was a little too slow when Adalberto McNally got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adalberto McNally in the 28th minute of play forced Timber Pines AFC's goalkeeper Kent Parker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hank Denton in the 29thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Kent Parker, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Zachery Parker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Timber Pines AFC's Kent Parker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adalberto McNally in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute, Zachery Parker left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Timber Pines AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adalberto McNally was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Adalberto McNally's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kent Parker was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. Kent Parker stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hank Denton's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. 54 minutes into the game, Santos Trent was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Timber Pines AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pickens the free kick. Santos Trent hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. If Zachery Parker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 59 minutes into the match, Pickens's goal looked a bit too open when Zachery Parker came free, but Yong Tracy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Timber Pines AFC defense, Hank Denton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kent Parker. The Timber Pines AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kent Parker should have stopped the shot. Kent Parker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hank Denton in the 70th minute of the match. Timber Pines AFC's Kent Parker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hank Denton in the 73rd minute of play. Hank Denton struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Kent Parker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pickens. Adalberto McNally sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute Hank Denton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kent Parker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Hank Denton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Adalberto McNally sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kent Parker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hank Denton in the 93rd minute of play. Timber Pines AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
