55 minutes into the match, Jamul FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alistair Mayberry came free, but Neil Maher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bob Groves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lee Curran read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Kelly Erickson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Lee Curran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pete Edmondson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lee Curran read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Jamul FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Burnham's goal looked a bit too open when Pete Edmondson came free, but Lee Curran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Burnham's goal looked a bit too open when Bob Groves came free, but Lee Curran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lee Curran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bob Groves in the 95th minute of play. 98 minutes into the game, Bob Groves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Lee Curran was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee ended the match the Jamul FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
