Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Dominique Tinsley got the match started through his kick off. With his leg Leonard Baldwin managed to avoid a goal in the 3rdth minute, when Vandalia FC's Salvatore Nesbitt fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dominique Tinsley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Leonard Baldwin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 6 minutes, Dominique Tinsley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vandalia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dominique Tinsley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Earl Franco kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Kenny Ernst hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 14 minutes into the match, Rancho Palos Verdes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dominique Tinsley came free, but Leonard Baldwin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 15 played minutes Rancho Palos Verdes FC got a freekick which was hit by Eric Dugan. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dominique Tinsley in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonard Baldwin saved Rancho Palos Verdes FC from getting behind. 18 minutes into the game, Dominique Tinsley lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Leonard Baldwin. Salvatore Nesbitt struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Leonard Baldwin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vandalia FC. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rupert McGowan during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rupert McGowan hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 30 minutes, Leonard Baldwin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Earl Franco fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rancho Palos Verdes FC's protests and gave Earl Franco a yellow card for diving instead. Earl Franco kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Salvatore Nesbitt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute, Salvatore Nesbitt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leonard Baldwin was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Michael Chang's late challenge caught a Vandalia FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Michael Chang helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Vandalia FC booed when Rancho Palos Verdes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michael Chang didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Dominique Tinsley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Rancho Palos Verdes FC's zone, Dominique Tinsley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonard Baldwin came out of the goal and Dominique Tinsley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th minute, Eric Dugan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Derrick Robles to make the kick off. Cyrus Griggs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Davis Valdez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Derrick Robles, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Dominique Tinsley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonard Baldwin having to interfere. Vandalia FC's attack was well implemented in the 58th minute, but when Salvatore Nesbitt was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Davis Valdez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Derrick Robles, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Derrick Robles blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Davis Valdez having to make a save. Cyrus Griggs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davis Valdez having to interfere. Leonard Baldwin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dominique Tinsley in the 74th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Wilber Emery hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cyrus Griggs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davis Valdez having to interfere. Kerry Comer took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Davis Valdez. Vandalia FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cyrus Griggs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Davis Valdez having to make a save. Wilber Emery kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Vandalia FC's Wilber Emery got a free kick in the 94th minute. Davis Valdez was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Phillip Langston. Vandalia FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
