Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Michael Kirby kicked off to start the match. A very good chance. 8 minutes into the game, Northglenn AFC's Zack Cardoso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Warren Cisneros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Scott Jean showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Nugent, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 15th minute Michael Kirby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Scott Jean saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 16th play minutes Michael Kirby shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Scott Jean and just under the crossbar into goal. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Michael Kirby put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Scott Jean. A throw-in in the 24th minute of the game was made by Dale Trimble with Duane Cain as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Wilson Rudd kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Randolph Boyles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 32nd minute, Munising FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Zack Cardoso fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The supporters of Northglenn AFC booed when Munising FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sung Link didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Michael Kirby's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Scott Jean was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Munising FC's Orlando Nugent got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Warren Cisneros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zack Cardoso in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Randolph Boyles to make the kick off. A hard shot 51 in the game by Michael Kirby from a close distance when the talented Scott Jean managed to make a qualified save. Northglenn AFC's players were relieved. In the 60th minute Michael Kirby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Scott Jean saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute there was a penalty for Northglenn AFC. Noel Bergman stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Warren Cisneros. 2-3. After 69 played minutes, Northglenn AFC's Noel Bergman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Warren Cisneros came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Northglenn AFC reached it. Scott Jean was a little too slow when Michael Kirby got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 2-4. After a defensive mix-up in Northglenn AFC's zone, Michael Kirby stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Scott Jean came out of the goal and Michael Kirby tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 81st minute, Michael Kirby fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Scott Jean, passed just outside the right post. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Northglenn AFC's goalkeeper Scott Jean, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 84th minute Randolph Boyles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Warren Cisneros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute, Michael Kirby ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Scott Jean was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-5. Noel Bergman made in the 93rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Randolph Boyles. Jayson Cornell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match was over Munising FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Northglenn AFC throughout the match.
