Wilson Rudd hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. But to his dismay, Orlando Nugent quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 26 minutes into the match, Munising FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dominique Ash came free, but Warren Cisneros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michael Kirbys short, quick shot in the 31stth minute got Rodrick Carr to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 33rd minute, Steve Sweet ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodrick Carr was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Patrick Yoder kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the game, Wilson Rudd threw the ball into play from the sideline. Liverpool's Ari Mack quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Ari Mack took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Warren Cisneros. Munising FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dominique Ash to strike the kick off in the second half. The Liverpool fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodrick Carr should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sung Link in the 73rd minute of play forced Liverpool's goalkeeper Rodrick Carr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 76 minutes of play, Munising FC's Orlando Nugent made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodrick Carr was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Michael Kirby put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Rodrick Carr. 85 minutes into the game, Wilson Rudd threw the ball into play from the sideline. Liverpool's Ari Mack quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. A sloppy throw-in by Wilson Rudd in the 88th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Liverpool's Ari Mack. Van Regan kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Liverpool's zone, Sung Link stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodrick Carr came out of the goal and Sung Link tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Michael Kirby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrick Carr having to interfere. There was no doubt that Munising FC were the better team. Munising FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
