The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Lawrence Califf fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lansdale's protests and gave Lawrence Califf a yellow card for diving instead. After 2 played minutes Lansdale got a freekick which was hit by Lawrence Califf. Andreas Barrios received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Damian Corona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9th minute, Troy Landrum got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Joseph McKay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Lansdale booed when West Haven AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robin Deal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stewart Lawler's late challenge caught a Lansdale's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stewart Lawler helped the player get up and apologised. 25 minutes into the match, West Haven AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Joseph McKay came free, but Damian Corona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joseph McKay might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Damian Corona. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joseph McKay ran back to his position shaking his head. Lansdale's Troy Landrum got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Brant Hinton was a little too slow when Rolando Richards got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 33rd minute. The score was now 1-1. Joseph McKay struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Damian Corona didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lansdale. Damian Corona didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joseph McKay went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 43 minutes into the match, Lansdale's Joseph McKay sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Damian Corona narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 43rd minute, Robin Deal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Damian Corona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joseph McKay in the 48th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Willis Nieves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Troy Landrum had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lansdale's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
