Spectators: 7403 (Terracing: 5647, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 25) Kasey Bland started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Thurman Bonilla struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Danny Paige didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Royal FC. Kasey Bland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kasey Bland recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Kasey Bland's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Evan Shipp was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kasey Bland in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Evan Shipp saved Royal FC from getting behind. In the 15thth minute of the game Kasey Bland who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Royal FC's Evan Shipp was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kasey Bland kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Landis's Riley Dooley got a free kick in the 19th minute. Kasey Bland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evan Shipp having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Barry Elder left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Landis fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Evan Shipp stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kasey Bland's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. If Kasey Bland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute, Kasey Bland got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Barry Elder took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Evan Shipp. Evan Shipp dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marquis Whitehead was the one to do the kick off. Leonardo Acero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 65 minutes, Thurman Bonilla mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Royal FC and the Landis players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Royal FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Thurman Bonilla hit a great ball. 68 minutes into the match, Royal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kasey Bland came free, but Evan Shipp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kasey Bland had several of the Royal FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 69 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-3 score and a disappointed Evan Shipp as he didn't even see the shot coming. After a defensive mix-up in Royal FC's zone, Kasey Bland stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evan Shipp came out of the goal and Kasey Bland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 77th match minute, Royal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marquis Whitehead to maneuver through the defense. When Ryan Harmon fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Landis's protests and gave Ryan Harmon a yellow card for diving instead. In the 80th minute, Stanley Segura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd minute, Tyrell Todd fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 89 minutes into the game, Landis's Kasey Bland nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Evan Shipp made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Kasey Bland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Evan Shipp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Barry Elder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Landis's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
