Aidan Kirkpatrick stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Santiago Ruffin's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. After a rather tough play, Nueva Villa FC's Sterling McDonough got a free kick in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cedric Amos in the 12th minute of play forced Attack Mori FC's goalkeeper Zack Fields to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute, Sterling McDonough ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zack Fields was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a rather tough play, Attack Mori FC's Josh McLeod got a free kick in the 19th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Sterling McDonough had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zack Fields. Attack Mori FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sterling McDonough was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Aidan Kirkpatrick was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Santiago Ruffin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Santiago Ruffin really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. If Santiago Ruffin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 30th minute, Sterling McDonough left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nueva Villa FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lewis Johns during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lewis Johns hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. The supporters of Nueva Villa FC booed when Attack Mori FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tyrone Glass didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 39 minutes of play, Nueva Villa FC's Sterling McDonough made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zack Fields was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 44th minute, Sterling McDonough left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nueva Villa FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. After the first half Nueva Villa FC were leading 1-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Santiago Ruffin made a kick off. Santiago Ruffin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Aidan Kirkpatrick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Josh McLeod recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Santiago Ruffin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Aidan Kirkpatrick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zack Fields came out of the goal and Sterling McDonough tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sterling McDonough kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Cedric Amos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Zack Fields made a huge save. When Tristan Knox came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Attack Mori FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tristan Knox couldn't finish the play. Zack Fields made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cedric Amos in the 81st minute. In the 84th match minute, Attack Mori FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Buck to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Attack Mori FC's goalkeeper Zack Fields, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 88 minutes into the match, Cedric Amos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zack Fields. Attack Mori FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cedric Amos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-6. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Kristofer Dale managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nueva Villa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kristofer Dale was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zack Fields breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Asher Fair charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Asher Fair the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 95th match minute, Nueva Villa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Asher Fair to maneuver through the defense.
