The crowd rose to their feet as Florida Suns's Glenn Durham slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Elijah Lockhart. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. Elijah Lockhart showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Glenn Durham in the 12th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Florida Suns's Glenn Durham sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elijah Lockhart narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in FC Cincinnati's zone, Glenn Durham stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elijah Lockhart came out of the goal and Glenn Durham tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC Cincinnati's Elijah Lockhart proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save FC Cincinnati from getting a goal against them. Glenn Durham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Glenn Durham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Elijah Lockhart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Cincinnati's Elijah Lockhart played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Glenn Durham in the 30th minute of play. After 32 played minutes FC Cincinnati got a freekick which was hit by Santo Aragon. 33 minutes into the match, Florida Suns's Wilfred Foster broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 35th minute, Morgan Kerr hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39thth minute of the game Glenn Durham who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Cincinnati's Elijah Lockhart was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With his leg Elijah Lockhart managed to avoid a goal in the 42ndth minute, when Florida Suns's Miguel Robbins fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. FC Cincinnati's Stanley Swain got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Stanley Swain might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nolan Huang. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stanley Swain ran back to his position shaking his head. When Stanley Swain came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the FC Cincinnati fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stanley Swain couldn't finish the play. Stanley Swain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 65 minutes, Santo Aragon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Cincinnati and the Florida Suns players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 65th minute, Santo Aragon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tracy Baez tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Elijah Lockhart. An unnecessary self made goal, 2-0 in the 68th minute. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Miguel Robbins put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Elijah Lockhart. Elijah Lockhart showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Glenn Durham in the 81st minute of the match. In the 84thth minute of the game Glenn Durham who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Cincinnati's Elijah Lockhart was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Miguel Robbins scored 4-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elijah Lockhart, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to FC Cincinnati getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Kip Harding hit a great ball. After 92 played minutes FC Cincinnati got a freekick which was hit by Kip Harding. Florida Suns's Wilfred Foster couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC Cincinnati. Elijah Lockhart made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Robbins in the 95th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Florida Suns players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
